Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will take place in the former compressor hall of the Hansa coking plant.
The Hansa Coking Plant in Dortmund-Huckarde, inaugurated in 1928, was once among the most advanced large-scale coking facilities in the Ruhr region. At its peak, it produced up to 5,200 tons of coke daily, primarily serving the steel industry. Today, the site stands as a preserved industrial monument, offering visitors a glimpse into the region's rich industrial heritage. A highlight is the historic compressor hall, housing five original gas piston compressors, which now serves as a unique venue for events and exhibitions. Since its decommissioning in 1992, the plant has been transformed into a cultural and educational center, blending industrial history with natural reclamation.
